A portrait will be posted every week (usually Sunday afternoon) on this website home page throughout the year of 2019. Some are of young Chinese learners whom I used to teach in my early years in China, some are of family and friends, others are of artists and curators with whom I have worked over the years in China.

SC was the main supporter of a special project in 2015 called ‘Intimate Transgressions Project ‘ . Several dozen artists contributed to this project which was exhibited in four cities, New York, Beijing ( Inter Gallery -798 Oct 2015) , Hangzhou and Taipei. It dealt with the challenging subject of violence against women during times of conflict, the narrative of the project began with the issue of the ‘comfort women’ and extended to a current global perspective.

2019年每个星期我都会在网站首页上放一幅肖像作品。其中一些是我刚到中国时曾经教过的年轻的中国学生(清澈的牛奶系列)，有些是朋友、家人，还有近年来与我一起工作的艺术家和策展人。
