A portrait will be posted every week (usually Sunday afternoon) on this website home page throughout the year of 2019. Some are of young Chinese learners whom I used to teach in my early years in China, some are of family and friends, others are of artists and curators with whom I have worked over the years in China. Li Xinmo is an artist/ writer/ curator and we have worked on different projects together over the last three years such as ‘Mortgaged Time’, ‘Existence’ , she curated ‘Map and Territory’ 2018 as part of the art duo RoXi. This year 2019 shared projects included the Irish collaboration 2019 ‘Odyssey the Return’ and also Gobi Heaven Festival August 2019.
