Delighted to announce that my socio eco art practiceThe Memory Palace of Tree Stories”  has been awarded public funding via Carlow County Council and  the Creative Ireland Carlow Programme .  This support has helped me build a specially designated  website for the gathering of peoples tree stories on video.

Your Just a Minute Tree Story

These short videos are less than a minute, they can be about any aspect of trees, it might be an  historical tree  story  or  even an ecological  tree story or a personal tree story.  It would be great if you can include a comment on how we might live better with the planet and the greater community of life.

Why create your Tree Story?

After crafting your own narrative, your tree story will be part of a traveling community,  your story will be presented to different audiences in exhibitions in China and Ireland and possibly elsewhere.  I am making artworks in response to a number of the Tree Stories. Making your Tree Story will be easier than ever with the on site Videographer at the Carlow Garden Festival .

Upcoming events

1. Ireland:

Carlow Garden Festival July 29th – August 5th

The Memory Palace of Tree Stories will gather trees stories from visitors attending the various Gardens and Heritage Gardens during the festival . I am currently working  with renowned videographer Patrick Bramley and Eileen O’Rourke from the Carlow Tourist Office so as to gather tree stories from guests coming to hear presentations and talks by celebrities at  the  different venues.

People can tell their one minute tree story on the day without filming and editing concerns.

This event is supported by Carlow County Council and Creative Ireland
